About Raystown Lake

Raystown Lake is Pennsylvania's largest lake, encompassing over 8,300 acres of water and 118 miles of shoreline. Managed by the Baltimore District, it offers camping, boating, fishing, and extensive trail systems. Volunteers play a key role in campground hosting, trail maintenance, and environmental education programs.

Campground Host — Seven Points

Resident host position at the Seven Points Campground. Site with 50-amp hookup provided.

How to Apply at Raystown Lake

  1. Call or email the ranger office (contact details on the right)
  2. Download and complete the Volunteer Service Agreement (OF-301A)
  3. Return forms to the park office or email them to the ranger
  4. Attend orientation (in-person or online)
  5. Receive your volunteer ID and log in to the Hour Tracker
