Sam Rayburn Reservoir is the largest reservoir entirely within Texas, with over 114,500 acres of water surface and 560 miles of shoreline. The Fort Worth District manages 12 public use areas around the lake.

How to Apply at Sam Rayburn Reservoir

  1. Call or email the ranger office (contact details on the right)
  2. Download and complete the Volunteer Service Agreement (OF-301A)
  3. Return forms to the park office or email them to the ranger
  4. Attend orientation (in-person or online)
  5. Receive your volunteer ID and log in to the Hour Tracker
